Twin ist der Künstlername der Neuseeländerin Michaela Sangl. Michaela Sangl studierte Architektur in Auckland und arbeitete nebenbei als Sängerin und Schauspielerin. Verschiedene Stipendien ermöglichten ihr Studien der Kunstgeschichte, Fotografie und des Bühnenbilds in Rom, Wien und Berlin. Heute ist Michaela Sangl freie Illustratorin, Sängerin und Sprecherin und lebt überwiegend in Berlin.
